Maggie and Dan's story began at Butler University in Indianapolis. Maggie and Dan were familiar with each other but didn't become close until they attended their mutual friend Will Vogel's 21st birthday party. It was there that their friendship blossomed! After their time at Butler, Maggie and Dan took the next step in their relationship, making it official and beginning a new chapter together.

Dan's surprise proposal to Maggie was a success! He arranged for their friend Mallory Connors to invite Maggie to a fundraiser (fake invite & all!). As they drove to the supposed event, Mallory took a "wrong" turn into Holiday Park, a place filled with cherished memories for Maggie and Dan. To Maggie's shock and delight, Dan was standing there, ready to ask her the most important question of their lives.
