What does black attire mean?
Answer
We want you to wear black....yes, the color black! It's our wedding color and we want each guest to feel a part of the wedding in a special way. Formal, casual, black-tie -- it's completely up to you, and it can have some pops of color if you wish! Please indulge us by wearing your favorite black frock and bring your fun self!

Will there be a shuttle to and from the hotel for the wedding festivities?
Answer
Unfortunately, no. We want you to be able to enjoy Memphis and our time together at your leisure, so there is no organized or formal mode of transportation for the Wegelin Wedding activities. The wedding ceremony, reception and after-party are within walking distance of each other and in the heart of downtown Memphis. If you'll be driving and need parking accommodations, we suggest the Peabody Hotel Parking Garage (113 N Second St).

It's the first full weekend of college football -- where's a good spot to cheer on my team?
Answer
A few favorites of the locals (and where the Wegelins have cheered on their ISU Cyclones, ASU Red Wolves and Arkansas Razorbacks at) are: 1. Silky O'Sullivan's (183 Beale St) - you'll more than likely find your team's memorabilia in this Memphis staple! And, you can watch flying goats while you're watching your game! 2. Max's Sports Bar (115 GE Patterson Ave) - a fun neighborhood hangout! 3. Blind Bear Speakeasy (119 S Main St) - a southern bar that has a roaring '20s-style, you'll enjoy a unique atmosphere and hopefully a win for your team! 4. Flying Saucer (130 Peabody Pl) - over 200+ global beers and always a good time! 5. Automatic Slims (83 S 2nd St) - our hangout spot after the wedding ceremony and reception, you can go Walkin' in Memphis with the Wegelins and watch your team at the same time!

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
Both the Wegelin Wedding ceremony and reception will be indoors!

What happens after the wedding ceremony and reception?
Answer
While the Bride and Groom take some pictures and make their way to the after-party location at Automatic Slims, you will have time to venture around downtown, grab a bite to eat, or even take a break if you need to refuel for the night of fun.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?
Answer
While we won't be having a sit-down meal at the reception or post-wedding celebration, there will be bites to eat here and there. If you have any dietary restrictions, please email us at thewegelinwedding@gmail.com and let us know so we can do our best to accommodate you. If you have a gluten allergy, good news -- the wedding cake will be 100% gluten free!
