Welcome

April 25, 2026

We are so incredibly grateful that you’re here—or planning to be! Whether you're traveling from California, New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, Texas, Wisconsin, Missouri, North Carolina, or just down the road, it means the world to us that you would make the journey to Idaho to help us celebrate this long-awaited moment in our lives. Our wedding isn’t just a party—it’s a heartfelt gathering of the people who have shaped us, supported us, and walked alongside us through five years of love, growth, and adventure. We’re so excited to welcome you to Danielle’s family home in the mountains, a place that’s been filled with memories for years and is about to gain a few more that we’ll never forget. We hope this weekend feels like a cozy mountain getaway mixed with the best dance party you’ve ever been to. Kick off your boots, breathe in the fresh air, and get ready to celebrate love, laughter, and maybe a few happy tears. We can't wait to share this weekend with you! Love, Danielle, Collin & Parker

How We Met

July 4, 2020

We met on the 4th of July in 2020—yes, that summer—when the world was still navigating COVID lockdowns, and big gatherings were off the table. A few mutual friends decided to keep things small and safe with a backyard BBQ at Jonny Maes’ apartment in Austin, Texas. Danielle had just moved to Austin from North Carolina after finishing grad school, ready for a fresh, fun, and single start in a brand new city. She was invited by friends Rachael and Jessica (both of whom she knew from her Chico, CA days), who were dating two of Collin’s lifelong friends—Ernest and Jonny, who all grew up together in Clovis, New Mexico. Collin had just moved to Austin a few months earlier and, thanks to COVID restrictions, hadn’t had much of a chance to meet people yet. When we were introduced that day, something clicked instantly. By the next weekend, Collin was already figuring out how to get himself invited to Danielle’s taco night at her new apartment—and luckily, the feeling was mutual. We started spending more and more time together, and very quickly, we were inseparable. That summer was filled with paddleboarding, exploring Austin, and spending hours by the pool together. What was supposed to be a fun single chapter turned into the start of the best adventure we never saw coming.

The Proposal

February 20, 2024

After four years of dating and about a year after welcoming our son Parker into the world, Collin proposed in the most perfect and personal way. Our story has never followed a traditional timeline, and we’ve always embraced that—it’s what makes it uniquely ours. We had scheduled a family photoshoot for Parker’s first birthday with the same photographer who had taken our maternity and newborn photos. It was meant to be a sweet little milestone session to capture our growing family before a big move to Colorado for new job opportunities. In the middle of the session, while I was lifting Parker up in the air for a picture, I turned around to find Collin down on one knee. Completely surprised, I said yes with Parker in my arms—and our photographer captured the whole moment. It was intimate, joyful, and incredibly special to have Parker right there with us. These photos were taken in Texas, just before we moved to Colorado, which made the moment even more meaningful as a beautiful closing chapter to our time there and a perfect start to our next adventure—officially planning forever together.

A Year From "I Do"

April 25, 2025

One year out from the big day, we headed up to Danielle’s parents’ property (our wedding venue!) for a special engagement photo session and to begin vision planning the day we had been waiting for. We brought along our son Parker, who was two at the time and absolutely thrilled to run around Grammy and Grampy’s property with paparazzi (aka our amazing photographer, Tara) in tow. By the time you’re reading this, he’ll be three—and even more excited to dance the night away with everyone at our wedding! These pictures, in addition to our proposal photos, mean a lot to us (see Gallery). Not only do they capture the place where we’ll be getting married, but they reflect the life we’ve built together—joyful, playful, and full of love. We’re so excited to invite you into this beautiful space that already holds so many memories, and to finally celebrate our wedding surrounded by the people we love most. We’ll meet you in the mountains!
