Matron of Honor
Ashley and Melissa met at Mansfield University! Ashley is Melissa’s Grand Big in Sigma Alpha Iota, though their friendship blossomed after Ashley graduated. Travel buddies and fellow nerds, these two may not live near each other, but they are still extremely close.
Bridesmaid
Sarah and Melissa might have both attended Mansfield University, and might also be Sigma Alpha Iota sisters, but they did not become close friends until singing as alumni in Carnegie Hall. Now these fellow Hufflepuffs are twins in goofiness and fun. See two women skipping down the sidewalks in Time Square post-broadway show? It’s probably them.
Bridesmaid
Taylor and Melissa have been sisters not by blood since middle school. They became friends in 5th grade while rehearsing for the musical, Alice in Wonderland. Melissa was an Owl in the caucus race, and Taylor was the Caterpillar. Through middle and high school, these two band nerds bonded over lunches in the music wing, drawing on each other in tech class, and singing on the late bus. The Buggy to her Birdy, Tay has been there for it all.
Bridesmaid
Melissa’s older sister, Kelsey was her first friend, likely first enemy, and partner in crime. Much to Kelsey’s dismay, many people confused them as twins, which thrilled Melissa. Kelsey has worked all over the country in some of the most beautiful places our country has to offer. She loves the outdoors, sports, and hanging with her family.
Best Man
Where to begin... Nick and Noah have been friends since early preschool. There was a long period of time where it was impossible to mention one without the other, and that doesn't include the times where people got their names mixed up. Many sleepovers, choir concerts, theatre productions, and a lot of time spent hovering around the same friend group meant Noah and Nick did just about everything together. We're just going to skip over the fact that even though they did everything together, Noah was more often than not better in almost every aspect. No matter the circumstance - including a mild falling out in high school, Noah has had Nick's back whether he knew it or not.
Groomsman
What started off as a customer buying his first "big boy bike" from Nick in January 2020 has transformed into one of Nick's best friends since post-college. One of the most compassionate and inquisitive humans you'll ever meet, Hakim is now Nick's dedicated cycling buddy and is always there to hang out and enjoy a good beer and a ton of laughs and sarcastic jokes. If you ever see some dude on a black Pinarello leaving some random guy in the dust, it's probably Hakim dropping Nick like a bad habit.
Groomsman
A fellow brother in Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia, Nick has always looked up to Coleman as a brother, musician, and friend. Coleman has seen just about all of the highs and lows of Nick's college career. Since Nick is terrible at checking in with friends and communicating in general, Coleman has taken the lead in sending the occasional but always welcome "hey! I gotchu, brother" text. Too bad it's been over 10 years and we still haven't seen that PM Class album drop...
Groomsman
Nick's Little Brother in Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia, Chris and Nick's friendship seemed a little forced to quite a few people in their last two years of college. Constant coffee runs in between Mr. Lontz's crazy class schedule resulted in both of them finding a shared love for music, video games, and sports. Chris is definitely one of the funniest and smartest people Nick has had the pleasure of getting to know. We're just going to skip over the fact that Chris is a smelly Pittsburgh sports fan; we love him anyway.
Goober of Honor
The 9 year old Australian Shepherd that runs the house and ensures a modicum of sanity for both Melissa and Nick. Hugh was adopted at the age of 3 months old in the summer of 2016. He spent his first year with Melissa at Mansfield University where we became fast friends with Nick. Hugh now lives his best life being spoiled rotten by his parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles as he lives out his life in the derpiest way possible. Hugh may be licensed as Melissa’s Emotional Support Animal, but he assists both Melissa and Nick everyday.
