What is the dress code?

Answer

Our wedding dress code is summer formal. Women can consider floor-length gowns or sophisticated cocktail dresses, while men should aim for light-colored suits or dress pants paired with a breathable dress shirt. No jeans on shorts. Please avoid wearing harsh colors or patterns as this is a curated event for the couple.

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

We will have a cash bar available at the venue for guests to purchase their preferred drinks, along with a complimentary welcome drink and a champagne toast for all to enjoy.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

To ensure we can accommodate all our beloved guests, only those explicitly named on your invitation are included. Any others will be asked to leave the premises.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start at 4:05pm. Please arrive 15 minutes before the ceremony to get settled and enjoy the gardens.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there will be parking available at the gardens. The lot has limited space, but there is parking along the road. Please try to carpool as much as possible! Affinitiy Business Center for overflow parking (400 2nd Ave NW, Hickory, NC 28601)

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly request that guests do not take photos during the event. The ceremony is private and the couple asks that no information regarding the ceremony gets shared until it is concluded. After the Bride and Groom make their way back up the aisle, every spot in the garden is picture perfect. Guest are more than welcome to photograph themselves or others before cocktail hour. Unplug and enjoy the event!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We respectfully request no children at the reception, allowing all of our guests to enjoy an adults-only evening. Those with a child have already been accommodated in our guest list.

Rain or shine, the celebration continues! Please bring umbrellas if rain is in the forecast and we will make accommodations the day of!
