The best wings in Tampa. Period. It’s a little hockey bar downtown. Order the wings “Dave’s way” with cheese fries, bacon, and extra ranch. The ranch is elite.
We’ve celebrated a lot here. It’s expensive, but it lives up to the hype. If your server asks if you want to see the dessert room, say yes. If you can’t get in, try Haven. Same owners, same steaks, easier to book.
The best Cuban sandwich in Tampa. No debate. The bread is what makes it. La Segunda’s Cuban bread is world famous. Seriously, restaurants around the globe brag about using it. If you see “made with La Segunda bread” on a menu, you’re in good hands. If you don’t, well, that sandwich is trash.
This used to be a streetcar warehouse. Now it's a food hall with something for everyone. Pizza, tacos, seafood, coffee, ice cream. Great views of the river and plenty of space to hang.
This rooftop bar sits on top of Armature Works. Perfect for sunset drinks with views of the river and downtown. Always feels like a good place to start or end the night.
Food stalls, a beer garden, and lots of outdoor seating right on the river. It’s casual, easy, and walkable to just about anywhere in downtown once you’re done hanging out.
This is where our rehearsal dinner is. It’s the oldest restaurant in Florida and a staple of Tampa’s food scene. Expect Cuban bread, black beans, sangria, and a few Tampa-style surprises. Babe Ruth's favorite restaurant!
A good place to unwind and let red ride until you’re a millionaire. If you run into Blake’s groomsman Andy, ask him about this place. He spends more time here than with his own family. The Seminole Tribe thanks him for his contributions.
If you're in town early, go see the Lightning play the Oilers. We love Bolts games. Blake worked for the team during college and after graduation, so it's kind of a full circle thing.
Swing by and check out the newly remodeled Chubbies store for all your proper length shorts needs. This wedding was partially funded by Blake’s Chubbies paychecks, so support the cause.
Where we’re getting married. Once the cigar capital of the world, now it’s full of great food, bars, shops, and culture. You can still buy hand-rolled cigars on the street and hear chickens roaming around.
You can pet stingrays here. No guarantees they remember what they did to Steve Irwin, but worth a visit either way.
One of the most historic buildings in the city. Grab a seat, catch a matinee, and take in the ceiling that looks like a starry sky. It's been open since 1926.
A nice spot to grab a coffee, wander the shops, and walk through one of Tampa’s prettiest neighborhoods. You can stroll down to Bayshore after and catch a view of the bay.
The pink palace on St. Pete Beach. If you grab a day pass, you get pool and beach access, beach loungers, towels, and access to the pool bar. It’s a good way to feel fancy without staying overnight.
