We met in high school at Tampa Catholic and started dating in October of 2013. From there, we both went to the University of Florida and graduated from the College of Journalism and Communications. After college, we moved back to Tampa and into an apartment with a friend. That setup lasted four years. Towards the end of our time in that tiny apartment, Blake decided it was time to take the next step in their relationship. To celebrate ten years together, Blake planned a trip to Savannah. It was the first place we ever vacationed as a couple. This time, it came with a surprise: eleven of our closest friends and a ring. Rachel said yes, which made things a lot easier. Not long after that, we started house hunting. Partly because we wanted a place of our own, but mostly because we wanted to give our nine-month-old basset hound the backyard of her dreams. We landed in a beautiful 100-year-old craftsman in Seminole Heights and have been slowly fixing it up since. Between the engagement and now, we’ve spent our time taking trips, working on the house, and enjoying being engaged. Now it’s time for the next chapter. But first, we get to celebrate, and we’re beyond excited that we get to do it with all of you.
