Things To Do
Tampa Riverwalk
You must walk around the Riverwalk area while you're in town! This is a great spot to get some movement in (run, walk, bike) or to leisurely stroll and enjoy the views of the Tampa Bay.
Hyde Park Village
A great place to eat, shop, stroll, and enjoy your afternoon! This is one of the Bride & Groom's favorite places to go while in town. Grab a coffee at Buddy Brew, browse around the shops, and be sure to check out the Farmer's Market if it's open.
Columbia Restaurant
A Tampa staple, and a must-visit if you love Cuban food as much as we do. The Columbia is a historic restaurant nearby in Ybor City. Pro Tip: order the 1905 Salad and thank us later.
Oxford Exchange
One of the Bride and Groom's favorite spots for breakfast, lunch, or a quick coffee break! This restaurant and coffee bar has a store inside with all kinds of local trinkets.

A local favorite - this food hall has something for everyone!
La Segunda Bakery and Cafe
A Tampa staple and local favorite - open since 1915. Grab a Cuban Sandwich, some Pastelitos, or a Cafe con Leche at one of the Bride & Groom's favorite spots.
Ybor City Museum State Park
Ybor City is a historic district in Tampa full of culture. The cigar capital of the world - Ybor was founded as a primarily Cuban neighborhood. A visit to Ybor City Museum State Park is a fun way to learn more about the bright culture and history of the area.
J.C. Newman Cigar Company
Founded in 1895, J.C. Newman Cigar Company is the oldest family-owned premium cigar maker in America. Handcrafted premium cigars & a small museum draw smoking aficionados to this historic factory. Book a tour, enjoy a cigar rolling experience, or visit their store.
Busch Gardens Tampa Bay
This is one of the Bride & Groom's favorite date spots! A day at Busch Gardens is a day well spent. Tara's favorite roller coaster is Sheikra and Gabriel's is Iron Gwazi.
The Florida Aquarium
Another spot we love to visit when home in Tampa! If you're visiting - be sure to pet a stingray.
Pass-a-Grille Beach
The Bride & Groom agree - this beach is their favorite. Pro Tip: grab some ice cream at Paradise Sweets or a bite to eat at the Hurricane Grill (or both).
Treasure Island Beach
Where Gabriel popped the big question to Tara! You can't go wrong spending the day in Treasure Island. Pro Tip: be sure to grab ice cream at the Shake Shop.
Clearwater Beach
Another great beach to spend a day in the sun. This is a fun spot if you're looking for lots of things to do in addition to lounging around in the sand. Pro Tip: be sure to grab something to eat at Frenchy's Rockaway Grill. Their crab cakes are top tier.
Publix Super Market at Water Street Tampa
If you know you know.. the Bride and Groom don't ever stop talking about how much they miss FL-Native grocery store, Publix. If you're curious or bored (and hungry) and want to see for yourself - we recommend getting yourself a "Pub Sub". Some of our favorites are -Popcorn Chicken, a cookie from the bakery (any of them - they're all good), or some buffalo chicken dip. The Bride & Groom have shared their Pub Sub Orders for anyone who's brave enough to try - Tara - Boar's Head Saulsalito Turkey Sandwhich on White Bread, Yellow Mustard, Light Mayo, White American Cheese, Lettuce, Tomato, Salt, Pepper, Oil, and Vinegar. Potato Chips and Publix Sweet Tea. Gabriel - An Ultimate Sub on Wheat Bread, Yellow Mustard, Light Mayo, Onion, Lettuce, Tomato, Salt, Pepper, Oregano, Oil, and Vinegar.
