United & American Airlines

Michigan has multiple airports, but Grand Rapids (GRR) is going to be the closest to the wedding location (20-min drive). You could also fly into Chicago (ORD or MDW) and take the Amtrak to Grand Rapids (4-hr train ride).

This hotel was recommended by a Grand Rapids local. It's on the pricier side, but the interiors are stunning and has a beautiful rooftop bar.

There are tons of standard hotels (including a Sheraton for an elevated experience) near the Grand Rapids airport, which is 20-min drive to the wedding location.

Train

Amtrak 370 Pere Marquette

The Amtrak is a great option if you prefer to fly into Chicago, however there is only 1 direct train a day between Chicago & Grand Rapids. Departure from Chicago at 6:30pm-->11:34pm (account for +1 time change). Departure from Grand Rapids at 6:00am: OUCH! Station codes are CHI to GRR.
