When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by February 28th. We understand the invites say February 15th, but due to unforeseen circumstances, invites were sent out later than expected. So we have pushed the RSVP deadline back

What happens if I don't RSVP in time?

Answer

If we do not get an RSVP back by the date which we have provided, it will be marked "No". We will miss you celebrating with us, however, we have to provide total guest count to the venue in a timely manner. Due to this, we cannot accept late RSVP's. We hope that you understand!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

For our special day, we kindly ask that guests wear formal attire. Think evening gowns, or a stylish suit. Your elegant presence will make the day even more memorable. We look forward to celebrating with you in style!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

As we have a strict guest list to stay within our agreed guest count with the venue, we can only accommodate those listed on your specific invitation. Thank you for understanding!

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged ceremony" (no phones or cameras). The greatest gift you can give us is being fully present as we say "I do". We have hired professional photographers/videographers to capture this moment for us and we promise to share our photos/videos as soon as we receive them. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos and videos as you'd like!

What time should I arrive?

The ceremony will begin at 4:00pm. Please arrive at least 15-30 minutes prior to the ceremony to park and find your seat.

Where should I park?

Answer

There is plenty of easily accessible paved parking available right next to the venue for your convenience. Additionally, we have designated handicapped parking spaces located near the back entrance to ensure that everyone can comfortably access the celebration. We encourage you to arrive early to find the best spot and ensure a smooth arrival. We look forward to seeing you there!

Both ceremony and reception will take place at The Prickel Barn.

Can I change my RSVP from "no" to "yes" last minute?

Answer

If you originally declined the invitation and now wish to attend, please reach out to us as soon as possible to check if we still have availability. After sending out invites, we’ve extended the opportunity to a few additional guests after receiving multiple declines, so we may still have space! We'll do our best to accommodate you, but it will depend on availability. Thank you for your understanding!

What if I can't make it?

Your presence will surely be missed. Please RSVP your decline. If you have RSVP'd attending, but find that you can no longer make it, please notify Jacob (937-232-1299) or Ashley (979-676-2139) as soon as possible.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Our wedding will be a dry event, meaning that no alcohol will be served. We’ve made this choice for personal reasons and are excited to celebrate with everyone in a fun and meaningful way! A variety of non-alcoholic beverages will be available for all guests to enjoy.

Can I bring my own adult beverage?

Answer

Do not bring your own alcohol as it is strictly prohibited on the premises. If alcohol is brought onto the site or found during the event, the individuals involved will be fined per our contract with the venue, as we are committed to maintaining a respectful and safe environment for all. We truly appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us make our special day as joyful as possible!

Yes, we do! Please use #VanLand when posting pictures on social media so we can see them too!

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have room blocks at the Marriott Cincinnati Airport Hotel along with the Courtyard at the Cincinnati Airport. Check the "Travel" tab for more information.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Unfortunately, we will not be providing transportation to and from the hotels for the ceremony. Please note that rideshare services are not easily available in this area, so we recommend arranging carpooling with other guests or using personal transportation.
