With the help of my friend Sam, Jacob and I met at Luke Bryan’s Bar in Nashville, TN the night before Jacob’s birthday. Sam, Jacob, and I spent the night out on the town hanging out and getting to know each other. The following day, Jacob invited me to his birthday dinner with his friends. Since then, we’ve spent almost every day with each other. While dating Jacob, I quickly learned he is one of the most intentional, fun, and joyful people I’ve ever met. Through all of our travels, date nights, and simple days together, we quickly became best friends. Jacob says he knew early on he wanted to marry me - I was a little more skeptical until one of our trips to Boone, North Carolina when we went to visit his friend Ethan. We started having more intentional conversations about marriage and what we wanted our futures to look like. We quickly realized we wanted the same things. On October 10, 2024, Jacob convinced me his parents were coming into town early to celebrate my birthday. When we walked into the airBnB to pick up his parents for dinner, I was completely caught off guard when I saw the house beautifully decorated with candles and our pictures everywhere. It was there that Jacob proposed and asked me to marry him!
