FAQs

Question

Are Children invited to the Wedding?

Answer

While we love your babies, this is an Adult only event. Only those addressed on the invitation are invited. Please understand, that means no infants and/or toddlers, as well.

Question

Will there be Child care available?

Answer

If you are traveling from out of town and need child care locally, we know a few certified Pre-school teachers who may be willing to provide childcare, for an hourly fee. This can be arranged through Amanda, directly. However, please understand this care will NOT be available at the venue and will be arranged offsite.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, this is a formal event. Suits, ties, cocktail or formal dresses would be appropriate. While dancing shoes are suggested, jeans are certainly not...

Question

Will Masks be required?

Answer

At this time, Masks are suggested and preferred, at our ceremony, for the safety of all of our guests. During Cocktail Hour and the reception there will be more room to practice social distancing, if you so desire. If requirements change, we will be sure to update you.

Question

Is there a possibility the event may be cancelled?

Answer

No way! We are getting married on July 2nd, unless the Lord has other plans of course. :) However, while living la vida corona, there is always a possibility of a change in plans for the day. But please know that we will be working closely with our venue to keep up with requirements and ordinances and if anything should require changes to the days’ events we will let you know!

Question

Am I invited with a Plus One?

Answer

As a general rule, only those who are addressed, on the invitation, are who is invited. So if your invitation says “and Guest”, yes! If not, please understand that we are planning within certain restrictions. But our family and friends are pretty cool, so you’ll have a great time even if you’re flying solo!

Question

Are any parts of the wedding outdoors?

Answer

No, all aspects of our wedding will be indoors at the air conditioned, Crystal Ballroom.

Question

When should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony begins PROMPTLY at 6pm. Doors will open at 5:15pm. After 6pm, no one will be permitted into the ceremony. So be sure to plan enough time to get yourself a seat. :)

Question

Do I have to pay for parking?

Answer

No. There are plenty of parking spaces surrounding our free standing venue.

Question

If we are staying at the Hilton Garden Inn, across the street from the venue, is there transportation available?

Answer

Yes! For those guests who have chosen to book a room from the room block at The Hilton Garden Inn, the hotel will provide a complimentary shuttle to and from the hotel and venue. For those adventurous guests, the walk is only about 3-4 minutes, as they sort of share an adjacent parking lot.

Question

Will temperatures be taken at the entrance of the venue?

Answer

Yes! Any guests with temperatures over 100.4 will be asked to leave for their car to rest a few moments and will only be scanned once more. If your temperature remains 100.4 or higher you will unfortunately not be permitted to remain at the venue for our wedding. Please understand that this is for the safety of all guests, but especially the Bride and Groom, as we have a honeymoon to travel to!

Question

Unplugged Ceremony?

Answer

Nah! BUT PLEASE TURN YOUR SOUND OFF, and be mindful and respectful of our photographer and videographers! Oh and be sure to tag us and our hashtag!

Question

Do I need cash for any reason?

Answer

Not necessarily, unless you’d like to be prepared to tip the bartenders.

Question

COVID

Answer

Not a question, but a request. If you are traveling from out of town or state please follow the guidelines for travel and health safety. If you are not feeling well, with uncertain symptoms, leading up to or on the day of our wedding, we ask that you please use caution, stay home, or even secure a Covid-19 rapid test. Of course we want you there to help us celebrate, but we cherish the health and safety of all of our loved ones, and just ask that everyone proceeds wisely.

For all the days along the way
