We're getting married!

The story of Rachel and James began with a serendipitous meeting on a night out in Broadbeach. James had just completed his legal training, while Rachel was completing her nursing degree, with dreams of one day becoming a lawyer herself. A spark was ignited as they struck up a conversation that flowed effortlessly. What started as a friendship blossomed over time, eventually evolving into something deeper in late 2018. In mid-2019, James moved to Sydney for a new career opportunity, and their relationship was tested by distance. Yet Rachel, determined and devoted, made the journey to Sydney almost every weekend, balancing her studies with visits. They cherished their brief moments together, creating precious memories as they dined in the city, explored the Northern Beaches, the Southern Highlands, and sipped wine in the Hunter Valley. When the world was hit by Covid-19, they faced their biggest challenge yet, locking down together at Kurraba Point. Rachel sourced the third member of their family from the Blue Mountains, a cheeky little dog named Pinot. Together, they made it through one one of the toughest periods of their lives, surviving a pandemic lockdown while James completed an MBA and they each navigated the ups and downs of corporate life. With the support of their families and each other, they emerged stronger from those tumultuous years. In September 2022, James proposed to Rachel at the stunning Jonah’s Boutique Hotel at Whale Beach, a moment filled with love and joy. Sharing the news with their closest family and friends became one of their most cherished memories. As 2023 drew to a close and 2024 began, they made their way back to the Gold Coast, settling into a new chapter of their lives at Main Beach. There, amidst the beauty of their surroundings, they began to plan their wedding, eager to celebrate the love that had grown stronger with every passing year.
