Our dress code is semi-formal ✨ We'd love for our guests to dress to impress! Gentlemen, please wear a suit or dress shirt with slacks—ties are optional. Ladies, we welcome full-length, midi, or cocktail dresses. Weather permitting, we'll have some lovely outdoor spaces available. Since mountain evenings can be quite cool, we encourage you to bring a jacket, shawl, or wrap for added comfort.

The ceremony & reception are indoors at The Boulders space at Black Canyon Inn. However, weather permitting, ceremony & cocktail hour will be semi-outdoors (mostly covered).

In classic Colorado fashion: Expect the unexpected… Mountain weather can change quickly! In late May, Estes Park typically sees mild daytime temperatures and cool evenings. You may experience sunshine, wind, rain, or even a surprise spring snow shower—sometimes all in one day! We recommend dressing in layers and bringing a jacket for nighttime.

Estes Park sits at over 7,500 feet above sea level, so you may notice the altitude, especially if traveling from lower elevations. You may feel short of breath more quickly, tire faster, or become dehydrated easier than usual. —SOME HELPFUL REMINDERS— • Drink plenty of water before and during your trip • Limit alcohol intake and pace yourself—one drink might feel like two • Pack sunscreen and lip balm (the mountain sun is strong!) • Take it easy your first day if needed • Bring layers for changing temperatures

Yes, we will have an open bar for all of our guests to enjoy complimentary drinks throughout the event! —PLEASE CONSIDER THE ALTITUDE— Drinks hit a little differently at 7,500 feet 🥂💨 Stay hydrated, take it slow, and don’t be surprised if one cocktail feels like two!
