Bobby and Jen met through mutual friends in grade school and officially started dating during their junior year of high school- over 10 years ago! Bobby and Jen are high school sweethearts.

Bobby had been planning his proposal to Jen for 8 months. He knew he wanted to propose underwater, so he surprised Jen with a scuba diving certification course for her 26th birthday. Bobby had been scuba certified since 2011 and it was something that Jen had always wanted to do, but just needed a little nudge! Bobby and Jen planned a vacation to Grand Cayman in June 2018 and were looking forward to a week filled with scuba diving and relaxation. Jen completed her certification during the first couple days of vacation. Towards the end of Jen's first dive as an official certified diver (after swimming past turtles, fish, and lobster!), Bobby pointed to a wooden chest next to a coral reef. Jen swam down to get the chest, opened it to see a beautiful ring, and turned around to see Bobby with an underwater board saying "Will You Marry Me?"
