Brenna and Marvin’s story began back in 2008, when they first met in middle school. They were just kids then — crossing paths in the hallways, sharing laughs with friends, and never imagining that they’d one day be planning a wedding together. By high school, their friendship deepened. They both played sports and shared a video production class, where Marvin would always find ways to flirt with Brenna. During their senior year, Marvin asked Brenna to prom — and asked her to be his girlfriend for the first time. Those high school memories remain some of their favorites: young, hopeful, and full of possibility. After high school graduation, life took them on separate paths. Brenna attended San Diego State University, while Marvin went to Chico State. They each grew and experienced life apart, but the spark of their early connection never truly faded. In June 2022, life brought them back together. What started as catching up soon turned into late-night conversations, laughter, and a rediscovered closeness. By January 2023, Marvin asked Brenna to be his girlfriend again, marking the start of their new chapter together. Since then, they’ve traveled, navigated long distance, supported each other’s dreams, and continued to grow stronger as a couple. On August 15, 2025, Marvin proposed to Brenna in an intimate and heartfelt moment — and she said yes. What began in 2008 as two middle school classmates grew into a high school romance, a rekindled love, and now a lifelong partnership.
