SASS! The Sweet and Savory Sisters
We love this restaurant so much we chose to do our Rehearsal Dinner here! This was originally an old train depot and trains will often pass by (be careful if you're running late, getting stuck by the training to get here is no fun!) We highly suggest checking out their brunch on the weekends! It is one of the only places open on Sundays, so if you're looking for a sit-down breakfast before you head out you will want to call and make a reservation here.
Hubs and Hops - Bike Shop and Taproom
We love this brewery so much we are going to get a drink here after our rehearsal dinner! It's part brewery, part bicycle shop and serves up great local craft beers, etc.
Sweet Grass Dairy Cheese Shop
We love this restaurant whether you sit at a table or the bar! If you're looking to just split a cheeseboard or if you want a fully meal, every option you choose is going to be SO GOOD. It gets busy quickly, so put your name in and stroll Broad Street while you wait for your table. Laura's favorite store, The Bookshelf, is right across the street!
Farmer's Daughter Vineyards + Tasting Room
One of our favorite wine bars! If you have some time over the weekend we recommend doing a wine tasting and playing a game or three of Uno with your family. Laura's favorite is the Knockout, while Stephen's favorite is the Heartbreaker.
Grassroots Coffee
All you have to do is say "coffee" and you know we're there! This is a comfy coffee spot, great for grabbing a to-go and strolling down Broad Street or hanging out and people-watching.
1861 Distillery
Our friends hosted our engagement party here, and we absolutely loved it. The vibe is so cozy and they have so many whiskeys to choose from! This bar is great if you're wanting liquor over beer or wine.
Jonah's Fish & Grits
A local favorite! Make sure you grab a drink at Farmers Daughter or Sweet Grass Dairy first, as they do not serve any alcohol here.
Empire Bagel & Delicatessen
Amazing breakfast bagel sandwiches! This is one of the few places in Thomasville that is open on Sundays, so stop here for a quick breakfast before heading out of town (we will be!)
Tvelo Brewing Company
Across the grass from Hubs and Hops, this is a great bar to grab your first drink. They are also open on Sundays which is a huge plus!
