I am coming from out of town. Where should I stay?

Answer

We have set up a room block at the Courtyard Marriott Downtown Thomasville, at 207 S Dawson St, Thomasville, GA 31792. Please see the link below to book your room and review hotel details. The last day to book under our room block is December 29, 2024 (pending availability in the block). https://www.marriott.com/event-reservations/reservation-link.mi?id=1713188898201&key=GRP&app=resvlink Other cities you may consider staying in are Moultrie, GA (20 minutes from the venue) or Tallahassee, FL (1hr 15min from the venue). There are many hotels you can explore should you wish to stay in either of these cities, as well as several Airbnb options. If you are flying into town, we recommend flying into TLH and renting a car to get to Thomasville/Hartsfield.

What time should I arrive to the venue?

Please arrive by 4:15pm as we will begin promptly at 4:30pm.

The reception will end at 10:00pm.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

The average temperature in the Hartsfield/Thomasville area in February is 64° / 40°. We recommend dressing for cool weather but bringing layers in case of warm or cold snaps.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our wedding ceremony will be outdoors at the Tuscan Pergola by the vineyards, and our reception will be in the Reception Tent. Should it rain that evening, the ceremony will be moved to the Grand Barn next to the vineyards.

Where should I park?

There is plenty of parking in front of the reception tent.

Is there transportation being provided between reception and hotels?

Answer

We will not be providing transportation as there is plenty of free parking at the venue. Because the venue is in a rural part of Georgia, we do not suggest Uber/Lyft. Please plan to drive. We recommend looking up directions prior to traveling to the venue in case your phone provider has limited service in that area.

What should I wear?

We love getting dressed up and hope you will too! We kindly request that you wear semi-formal attire to our event.

Are there any colors that guests should avoid wearing?

Please avoid wearing shades of light pink / blush.

What kind of shoes should / shouldn't I wear?

Answer

Ladies will want to avoid wearing stiletto heels as you will be walking through grass to get to and from the ceremony site.

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?

Answer

Yes! We would love for you to take photos all night and text them to either of us so we have something fun to look at the next day! However, please refrain from taking photos during the ceremony. We will provide a moment for you to do so before the ceremony begins.
