MATRON OF HONOR
Kim and Cheryl met seven years ago at work, bonding at happy hour over carne asada fries and margaritas. From then on they became known as “besties” around the office. Cheryl has been one of Kim's greatest friends and they have provided much needed support for each other through many of life’s challenges. They have celebrated so many of life’s joys together, including the birth of Cheryl’s three kids, the renewing of Cheryl and Karl’s vows, and Kim meeting the love of her life. Cheryl has been one of Jeff and Kim's biggest supporters and has seen their relationship grow from the start. In fact, Cheryl early on said to Kim “You know Jeff’s going to be your husband right?” Kim feels lucky to have such a loving and supportive friend by her side on the best day of her life.
Best Man
Jeff and Cole first met on a Fall afternoon in Chicago. It was October of 2009 and Jeff was in town preparing to watch the heroic USC Trojan football team take on the cowardly Notre Dame Fighting Irish. In an entirely uncharacteristic turn of events, Jeff found himself in a sleazy Chicago basement dive bar the day prior to the contest, where he was first introduced to Cole. Over a few pitchers of Old Style, the two bonded and ended up in South Bend, where they watched visiting USC easily defeat the home team. The two continued their friendship from that day. Cole later moved to California and in 2015, Cole (with his now wife Gabby) joined Jeff and Kim on their first double date and have been an important part of their relationship since.
Officiant
When Jeff and Kim first thought about an officiant for their wedding, they knew they wanted to involve a person that had been a part of their relationship from the beginning--someone that knew them, their love, and their journey. They quickly realized that there was no better person for the job than Karl. Karl has been a supporter of Jeff and Kim's relationship from the day before their first date and, along with his wife Cheryl, continually provides a shining example of what a great marriage should be. Cheryl and Karl are like family and Jeff and Kim couldn't imagine a wedding day without them.
