Max and Hanna’s story began at Southern Methodist University during Homecoming Week—an energetic, spirited time when sororities and fraternities join forces for a whirlwind of challenges, chants, and caffeine-fueled bonding. Hanna’s sorority, Delta Gamma, was paired with Max’s fraternity, Beta Upsilon Chi, and fate did the rest to bring them together. Their first real connection happened during Sing Song, a themed competition where each group performs a ten minute skit complete with dancing, singing, and of course some awkward jokes to keep things interesting. Between late-night rehearsals, building props, and scrunching up tissue paper for the homecoming float, Max and Hanna got to know each other—but kept it casual. That is, until their group won Sing Song. Victory has a way of sparking courage, and Max made his move by asking Hanna to away weekend—a formal getaway hosted by the fraternity in a nearby city. That weekend? Sparks flew. And that was just the beginning. Fast forward five years, and their journey has been filled with love, laughter, and countless milestones that brought them even closer together: Hanna’s graduation, followed by Max’s graduation the next year, starting their careers, and getting Enzo—the most perfect, mildly spoiled, dog they could ask for. They’ve grown not only as individuals but as a couple. Through every chapter, their love has deepened around their relationship in Christ, ultimately leading to one of their most joyful moments yet: getting engaged! Now, the biggest milestone awaits: On March 27th, 2026, Max and Hanna will walk down the aisle and say “I do.” They’re beyond excited to celebrate this next adventure surrounded by the people they love most—and yes, there may be more dancing involved (but no promises on choreography this time).
