Best Man
Deston met Jake in 2022 and quickly established a bond that is clearly unbreakable. What started as a strange encounter for both of them quickly developed into a brotherhood that would include road trips, fishing trips, day long shenanigans, fixing Jake's project cars, bar hopping, and play video games (which Kendall constantly tries to sabotage). Jake is truly a special person and someone everyone wants in their team. He embodies the very definition of loyalty, honesty, and love for all.
Kelsie Burton
Matron of Honor
Kelsie is Kendall's younger sister. They have had a very close relationship since Kelsie was born. When they moved away to college, that closeness never faded and they have always remained in constant communication supporting each other through anything. Some of Kendall's favorite memories with Kelsie is going to music festivals or concerts together, going to Disney World with her, and talking the night away. Kelsie is the most supportive, kind-hearted, graceful, and patient person you will ever meet!
Kole Gallagher
Groomsman
Kole, the younger brother of Kendall, has always been very close with Kendall and Deston. His relationship with his sister has always been strong and he quickly connected with Deston when the couple started dating in 2023. Kole would always motivate the couple to workout, focus on their health, strive to be the best versions of themselves, and concentrate on their long-term goals. They would regularly go to the gym together, partake in little spa days at the sauna, play poker, watch movies, and whatever Kole was into at the time. Kole would come over and hang out (especially for dinner!) almost every night. He is a very caring, nonchalant, passionate, and stubborn young man who brings energy, life, and curiosity to every situation.
Amber Phipps
Bridesmaid
Amber has been one of Kendall's best friends since high school. They met on the Evergreen High School cheer team when Amber tried out her freshman year. Although they were two years apart, they were inseparable until Kendall graduated. Afterwards, they have stayed in touch and catch up often when one of them are in town! Amber has always been up for whatever adventure might come their way, and sometimes their best adventures were the ones not planned, driving around aimlessly.
Trey Svoboda
Groomsman
Trey, commonly known as "Scooby" has known Deston since he arrived to the infantry unit in 2021. Over the last five years they shared in adventures that would forever be a memory and you could always count on Trey to be joking alongside Deston in any condition. Trey has the ability to turn any bad time into a comical one with his jokes, impersonations, and goofy demeanor. Trey always has a smile on his face and never lets a little rain or cold ruin a prime opportunity for a one liner.
Olivia Sauve
Bridesmaid
Olivia and Kendall are co-workers who grew a fast and profound friendship through work meetings turning into being together daily. She has quickly become one of Kendall's best friends and always brings laughter and joy to her day. They spend their time watching NCIS or cheesy rom-coms that Kendall makes her watch, playing card games, or crafting often times for the classroom. Olivia also comes over for hockey games and dinner regularly. Olivia is always willing to help, listen, and support with anything someone may need. Olivia is the definition of outgoing, strong-willed, and is enjoyable company.
Curtis Hamilton
Groomsman
Curtis, commonly known as "Hammy" was with the infantry when Deston arrived. Curtis would invite Deston to go play spades with all the mortarman which became a prominent bonding experience. He is the voice of reason and approaches his situations nonchalantly with high hopes of not getting rained on. Curtis always puts his friends first and would be the first to help in any situation. They have continued growing their relationship throughout many long, extraneous military trainings, as well as outside the military through constant communication and laughs.
Avaleigh Phipps
Flower Girl
Avaleigh is Amber's daughter. She is sweet and sassy with all the confidence a little 4 year old can handle. Ava stole a place in Kendall's heart as a little baby. Deston and Kendall are very excited to have Ava be their flower girl in the wedding.
