Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Yes, the invites are addressed to the main invitee with the assumption that they bring their partner if they have one or someone else they’d like to invite, just notate the name of the person who you’re bringing when you respond to the RSVP please. Also, cannot stress this to y’all enough, but you and your plus one HAVE to RSVP by August 30th. If you don’t, I’m assuming you’re not coming. We’re charged for guest count and we have a budget so while we love those we invited, there’s no exceptions to this. It doesn’t cost to remove people, but it does to add. So unfortunately, no RSVP by 8/30/2025, no attendance at the wedding. Sorry, friends.

Question

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Yes, but it’s a cash bar after a pre-set limit so have either cash, card or tap to pay on hand. We’re sorry we can’t afford a tab for this, otherwise we would!

Question

Are children allowed?

Answer

Disgusting, absolutely not. Nah, JK. Unfortunately due to costs, we aren’t allowing kids besides our nieces and nephews (the nieces are the flower girls). We understand this can make things difficult and we apologize, but we’re hoping we gave everyone enough advanced notice of the date that babysitting arrangements can be made. Sorry again!

Question

Is there a registry?

Answer

The only thing on our registry is a fund for our honeymoon. We understand that sometimes people prefer to give a physical gift, however, we’d appreciate anything you would’ve put toward a gift in the form of a donation toward our honeymoon. We’ve got all the basics covered since we’ve lived together so long!

Question

What’s the dress code?

Answer

Formal/dressy. Men, you don’t have to wear a full suit if you don’t want to but feel free. Otherwise just like nice pants, collared shirt. No jeans. Ladies, nice pants, nice shirt, dress, cute skirt, nothing overly revealing as family and some kids are present. And no white or any shades similar please. Thanks, friends.

Question

Will there be food?

Answer

Yes! Food, drinks, desserts, we gonna have it! We’re doing appetizer style foods and cake but the reception won’t start until around 8:15ish probably. The wedding party has to take pictures after the ceremony and then we’ll cut the cake before getting the reception started so we recommend probably having dinner before coming to the wedding since we’re opting out of a full meal. There is also alcohol being served but it’s a cash bar after a preset limit so plan to bring cash or a card with you if you want to drink.

Question

Is there assigned seating?

Answer

Nope! Sit wherever. The front two rows of each side will be reserved for the families of the bride and groom but other than that, wherever you want. Dining will be a similar situation, closer tables reserved for families but otherwise sit wherever.

Question

Can I take pictures?

Answer

Yes and no. You can take photos and videos during the reception, but we’re asking everyone to put their phones down and on silent during the ceremony. We have a photographer but we also want everyone to be present and not watching us get married through a phone. Also weddings are stressful and since everyone invited is probably well aware of who the bride is as a person, just keep phones down during the ceremony and don’t poke the bear.
