FAQs

Question

When do we need to RSVP by?

Answer

Please be sure to RSVP before July 1st on the RSVP tab so that we are able to provide an accurate guest count to all our vendors in a timely manner and plan accordingly.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We’d love to see our family and friends dressed up for our big day! Dress to impress in your best formal cocktail hour attire. We ask that you please refrain from wearing colors traditionally reserved for the bride such as whites, ivories, and creams. Ladies are encouraged to wear floor-length, tea-length or midi formal dresses. A suit and tie for the gentlemen is just fine. The bridesmaids will be dressed in the color champagne and our florals will have light blue accents.

Question

What is the dress code for the church ceremony?

Answer

Feel free to keep it classy, modest, and casually elegant for the church ceremony—there’s no need to break out your formal reception look just yet! Of course, if you’re feeling fancy and want to dress up, go for it. Either way, you’ll have time to switch things up before the party later!

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Our church ceremony will begin promptly at 2:00pm. We anticipate there to be more traffic than usual due to the location of the church and summer traffic. Please plan to arrive at least 10 minutes prior to allow time for summer traffic, parking and finding your seat. Please park in the church school parking lot and walk over to the church. Please either type in Saint Peter's Roman Catholic Church in Point Pleasant Beach to your GPS or type this address: 415 Atlantic Ave Point Pleasant Beach, NJ 08742 For our out of towner guests: please be ready outside the front of the Sheraton Hotel a few minutes before 5:15 for the shuttle to take you to cocktail hour.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We will be having an unplugged ceremony, meaning that once the ceremony begins, we ask that all phones be put away and silenced. We want everyone to be fully present with us. We have hired a professional photographer and videographer to capture some of the most important moments of our lives and we’d hate to have a persons phone or camera blocking that moment for our photographers to capture. We promise to share all pictures our photographers capture throughout the night! After the ceremony and church exit is over please feel free to take as many pictures as you’d like and be sure to share them with us using the QR code found on your ceremony program.

Question

Where do I park/Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Transportation will not be provided for the church ceremony. Guests are encouraged to park in the school church parking lot or uber to the ceremony. Our venue has on-site valet, however, we do encourage guests to use the provided shuttle to and from the hotel. The shuttle will make one stop from the hotel to the venue prior to cocktail hour. The shuttle will be leaving the hotel at 5:15. At the end of the night there will be one shuttle to take guests back to the hotel who are ready for bed and another shuttle for the guests that are ready to keep the party going at the after party.

Question

What can I do after the ceremony before the reception?

Answer

We know that you will have a couple of hours after the ceremony before cocktail hour starts. We suggest using this time to check into your hotel room/air bnb, freshen up, or grab a small bite to eat. Be sure to check out our "Things to Do" tab for some ideas on places to go!

Question

Will there be an after party?

Answer

Yes - get ready to keep the party going! The drinks are on us and the hangover is on you! For this reason, we encourage guests to stay at the Sheraton hotel and use the provided shuttle after the reception from the venue to the after party.

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be indoors inside the Church. Cocktail hour and the reception will be primarily inside with limited outdoor space.

Question

Are kids allowed?

Answer

We love and adore your little ones, however, we have decided to keep the night an adults only event. We encourage you to use this evening as a fun date night and a “night out” for yourself! We appreciate you making prior arrangements so that you can celebrate with us.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one they will appear on your invite. We look forward to keeping our wedding intimate with our closest family and friends. Thank you for understanding and please feel free to reach out to us with any questions.

Question

Do I need to select my meal choice prior to the wedding?

Answer

No! All meal orders will be taken the night of and all we can say is, come hungry! *Our venue is fully equipped to accommodate any and all allergies or restrictions. Please inform your table server before ordering so the chefs can accommodate your request.*
