Like many modern romances, ours began with a swipe, but neither of us could’ve guessed how much that one decision would change our lives. We met on Hinge, both cautiously optimistic, and (at least for Julie) teetering on the edge of dating fatigue. In fact, she almost canceled the date. But fate (and maybe a little curiosity) stepped in. Our first date was at Marjan Fine Persian Grill, right after Antonio finished work. He brought Julie flowers the first of many thoughtful gestures. We sat down to dinner and five hours later, we were still there, talking like old friends… or more accurately, Antonio talking, and Julie laughing and listening, wondering what exactly she’d just gotten herself into. By the second date, it was clear this wasn’t like anything else. Antonio picked Julie up from the airport with a cappuccino in hand, a gesture that felt both unexpected and incredibly right. He then proceed to cook her a homemade dinner while she sat on the couch with a glass of wine. Since then, we’ve shared countless dinners, adventures, lazy Sundays, and lots of laughs. And now, we’re stepping into a new chapter surrounded by love, family, and a little wine, just the way we like it. We’re so grateful we found each other… and that Julie didn’t cancel that date.
