Travel Note
Our celebration takes place at over 10,000 feet above sea level- which means stunning mountain views and thinner air! If you’re traveling from lower elevation, your body may need time to adjust. Here are a few tips to help you feel your best: • Hydrate early and often. Start drinking extra water a few days before arrival and continue throughout the weekend. • Take it easy your first day. Plan for a relaxed arrival day and avoid intense workouts or long hikes. • Limit alcohol at first. Alcohol's effects are stronger at altitude, so pace yourself and alternate with water. • Eat regularly. Light, balanced meals and snacks help maintain energy and prevent headaches. • Protect yourself from the sun. UV exposure is stronger at high elevation- sunscreen, sunglasses, and hats are your friends. Common symptoms can include headache, fatigue, shortness of breath, or trouble sleeping- this is normal while adjusting. If you feel unwell, hydrate, rest, and let someone know. Most guests adjust within 24–48 hours. We can’t wait to celebrate with you in the mountains — drink water, take in the views, and enjoy the fresh alpine air!
