The Club at Crested Butte Located just a few minutes from town in Mt. Crested Butte, this 18-hole course is surrounded by panoramic mountain scenery. Designed to blend naturally into the alpine landscape, it’s known for dramatic elevation changes, wildflower meadows in the summer, and breathtaking views on nearly every hole. Dos Rios Golf Club (Gunnison) About 30 minutes south in Gunnison, this relaxed and scenic course sits where the Gunnison and Tomichi Rivers meet. It’s a bit warmer than Crested Butte and offers a more open layout with beautiful valley views. A great option if you’re looking for another round during your stay. Tips for Mountain Golf Book tee times in advance, especially in summer. Mornings tend to have the calmest weather. Bring sunscreen and hydrate- the higher elevation makes the sun stronger.
