The Beltline
The Beltline is a 22-mile system of trails, parks, retail, and cultural venues that connects various neighborhoods of Atlanta. The most popular segment stretches 1.5 miles from Ponce City Market to Krog Street Market. Tyler and I walked this on our first date to get ice cream at Jeni's!
Piedmont Park
Our favorite park in the city! Located in Midtown - we recommend taking scooters around the park and then going down the beltline!
Alpha Loop
This is a beautiful path that takes you from Avalon to downtown Alpharetta!
Downtown Alpharetta GA
Lots of fun restaurants (indoor/outdoor/rooftop decks), coffee shops, boutiques, and a huge farmer's market on Saturday morning! It's about a mile walk from Avalon if you take the Alpha Loop! Check out Up on The Roof, Truck and Tap, and Jeckyl Brewery!

Atlanta Botanical Garden
Adjacent to Piedmont Park, this is a 30-acre urban oasis that features themed gardens, such as a tropical rainforest, Japanese garden, and a stunning canopy walk.
Martin Luther King Jr. National Historical Park
Located close to downtown Atlanta, this park honors Dr. King's life and legacy. It includes his birth home, Ebenezer Baptist Church, and the King Center where he is laid to rest. The park highlights his role in the civil rights movement and his vision of equality and memorials celebrating his contributions.
