Kaitlyn's POV - I was going into my senior year of college and after a few years of being single, I decided I wanted a boyfriend!!! I downloaded hinge on a Sunday. After a few hours of swiping left, I was blocked and told I had to download premium if I wanted to continue to scroll. I was determined to find myself a boyfriend, so of course I paid. I found Tyler that night. He had a picture of him running track in college AND was a nurse. The caption of his picture was "nurse daddy," so that's what my friends and I called him that summer. Tyler planned a cute date on the top of Ponce City Market (mini golf, drinks, arcade games, etc). Leading up to our date, we joked about making PowerPoint presentations to share about ourselves. It started as a joke, but we took it seriously. I remember sitting in the library, diligently working on a powerpoint about my favorite foods and childhood friends while my friend was studying for her LSAT. The day of the date finally came and I was late because I refused to pay for parking at Ponce. I told him to meet me inside the William Sonoma. He said his hellos and one of the first things I said was "omg you have an accent!" It was the first time I ever went on a date with someone and didn't know their voice! I fricken loved it. We got our tickets to go to the roof and Tyler paid for us. I didn't know how to thank him so I gave him the most awkward high-five. We went to the top of the roof and sat at a table and presented our PowerPoints for the rest of the night. We didn't have time for a single game. Then we ended the night with a walk to Jenni's for ice cream!
