This pays homage to the groom's heritage. The Chinese character 喜 represents happiness. When two are paired together to create 囍 (shuāngxǐ), it symbolizes the joyful union of a newlywed couple. Quite literally, it means "double happiness." At traditional Chinese weddings, 囍 is displayed in red to evoke prosperity and good fortune. Look for the 囍 symbol at our ceremony and reception!
