Yes! There is a play set and beach for them to run around and play. There will also be lawn games for the older kids!
No, we wanted to have the opportunity to celebrate this exciting time with our loved ones, but decided to keep it casual. You can equate it to a summer grad party level of formality.
Nope! Dress casual and comfortable. It’s an outdoor venue with a lake, yard games, and BBQ food!
We were limited on how many guests could join us for our ceremony in Maine, so we’re excited to celebrate our marriage with you in August! We do not expect gifts, but if you are feeling generous, we have put together registries at Crate and Barrel, Target, and Amazon — links can be found on the Registry page on this website. If you prefer, we will have a box for cards and a table for gifts at the party. Again, it is not expected — your presence alone is a gift to us!
We are having the event catered by Mission BBQ. We will have chicken, pork, and brisket from the restaurant. In addition, there will be salad, miscellaneous sides, fruits and veggies, and desserts. If you have a food intolerance please let us know in your RSVP!
Zack and I are very introverted people, as you know. When we were dreaming of our wedding day, we always imagined an adventurous celebration with our closest family and friends, with whom we feel most comfortable. Getting married in our dream location (Acadia National Park) would not have been possible with a large group of people due to park rules. With that said, we still value our relationships with other family and friends, and we can’t wait to officially celebrate with you soon!
