Things To Do

Here are just a few recommendations on where to eat and play while you're in town!

City Park

1 Palm Drive, New Orleans, LA 70124

We love City Park! Go for a walk, jog, bike, or boat ride when the weather is nice. Check out City Putt mini golf course, or Storyland amusement park (great for young kids).

French Truck Coffee

217 Chartres Street, New Orleans, LA 70130
, (504) 605-2899

This is possibly our favorite coffee in the world. Treat yourself to a NOLA Iced and enjoy some people-watching in the Quarter.

St. Roch Market

2381 Saint Claude Avenue, New Orleans, LA 70117
, (504) 609-3813

This indoor food hall is perfect when you can't all decide on one thing to eat! Definitely get the oysters, though.

Paladar 511

511 Marigny Street, New Orleans, LA 70117
, (504) 509-6782

Fabulous place to eat dinner if you're staying in the Marigny. Pizza is amazing, but there are lots of creative and delicious small plates as well.

Cochon Butcher

930 Tchoupitoulas Street, New Orleans, LA 70130
, (504) 588-7675

Best darn sandwiches in town!

Crescent Park

2300 North Peters Street, New Orleans, LA 70117
, (504) 636-6400

Take a walk along the Mississippi and watch the boats go by.

Parleaux Beer Lab

634 Lesseps Street, New Orleans, LA 70117
, (504) 702-8433

Delicious beers in a great outdoor space.

Bacchanal Fine Wine & Spirits

600 Poland Avenue, New Orleans, LA 70117
, (504) 948-9111

Charming outdoor wine bar and restaurant.

The Columns Hotel

The Columns Hotel

3811 Saint Charles Avenue, New Orleans, LA 70115
, (504) 899-9308

Sip a drink on the front porch and watch the streetcars go by.

The National WWII Museum

The National WWII Museum

945 Magazine Street, New Orleans, LA 70130
, (504) 528-1944
Ace Hotel New Orleans

Ace Hotel New Orleans

600 Carondelet Street, New Orleans, LA 70130
, (504) 900-1180

The Ace has great a great bar downstairs, attached to Stumptown Coffee Roasters. The pool and bar on the roof are a great place to hang out- free on weekdays and cover on weekends.

Swamp Tour

Swamp Tour

New Orleans,

If you have a few hours free, we'd definitely recommend going on a swamp tour! This is a great way to see alligators out in the wild. There are several great swamp tour companies- look for one with shuttles from downtown.

The Elysian Bar

The Elysian Bar

2317 Burgundy Street, New Orleans, LA 70117
, (504) 356-6769

The Elysian Bar is part of an 1860s Catholic Church complex that was recently renovated as a hotel, bar, and event space. The space is stunningly beautiful! A great place to grab a pre-wedding drink.
