Are kids invited?

We love your kids, but we want our wedding to be your night off! Let us know if you need help finding a babysitter while you are in town.

Should I drive to the wedding, or take a cab?

Answer

There is very little parking around Capulet. We recommend that you stay safe and take an Uber or Lyft instead! It is a 15-20 minute ride from the CBD and about 10 minutes from MidCity. We'd recommend calling United for cab service (504) 522-9771 if you are less tech savvy.

What should I wear to the wedding?

Answer

Cocktail attire for the wedding- but it's May and it will probably be warm. Plan for temperatures in the 80s for the outdoor ceremony- so make yourself comfortable!

What is the weather like in May in New Orleans?

Answer

May is the beginning of summer in New Orleans. It will probably be very warm in the day and cool off a bit at night. It could rain a lot in May or it could be like Southern California. Check the weather before you pack your bag and consider bringing a raincoat!

Is the wedding a formal sit-down dinner?

Answer

Nope! There will be plenty of food, but the atmosphere is more dance party than a formal meal. You can grab food from the buffet and eat where/when you like. The dance floor will open right away too- so you can go back and forth. There won't be assigned seating.
