Question

Will I need a passport?

Answer

You will need a passport in order to attend this wedding. Current passport processing times are estimated at 6-9 weeks. Expedited passports are at 3-5 weeks. Please plan accordingly.

Will there be parking at the venue?

Answer

For those that will not be using the shuttle service, guests will have access to parking next to the venue at Casa Playa Baja.

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP By January 5th 2023. If you are interested in staying at the venue or taking advantage of the shuttle, please RSVP as soon as possible. You may RSVP on our website by clicking the "RSVP" tab at the top of this web page.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Dress code is "beach classy" with a preferred "light beach pallette". Please keep in mind it will be winter and it can be cold by the ocean so bring layers! Expected temperatures should be mid to high 60s in the day and mid to high 50s in the evening.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

There will be options for every dietary need.

What is the distance from San Diego to the venue?

Answer

Approx 1 hour from the United States border.

What is the distance from the rehearsal dinner to the venue?

Answer

Approximately 5 minutes

Question

How do I book a hotel room at the venue?

Answer

Please email the bride and groom at TheSchrobys@gmail.com to inquire about booking a room at the venue directly through them.

Will I be able to do an early check in?

Answer

If you are staying at the venue, you will be able to check in as early as 1 pm. If you are staying at one of our suggested accommodations, early check in may be at the discretion of the hotel.

How close are the hotel recommendations?

Answer

Recommended accommodations are all within a 10 min drive of the venue.

Question

I am not from San Diego, when should I plan my flights?

Answer

Recommended flights will arrive on Thursday or early Friday before the shuttle. You may also choose to depart late Sunday night or Monday.

How long are San Ysidro border wait times?

Answer

Crossing into Mexico is usually relatively quick. Friday afternoons can have regular commuter traffic. Crossing from Mexico into the U.S. can sometimes take a few hours. Question

How do I drive to the venue once crossing the border?

Answer

If driving, please take advantage of the toll road that hugs the coast. The toll road is accessed right when you cross the border and will take you directly to the venue without confusing turns. It will cost a few dollars to use and will save a ton of headache!
