Question

When is the RSVP Deadline?

Answer

Please RSVP by June 1st, 2022 for all events.

Question

Do we need to stay for all 3 days?

Answer

This is completely up to you! Since you are making the trek to Italy for our wedding, we want to be sure we get to spend quality time with everyone! This is why we are hosting a welcome dinner and post-wedding brunch. If you have a full agenda for your European vacation, feel free to skip on the extra events and we will see you at the wedding! But if you want to spend time exploring Florence and the Tuscany region, please come join us for the welcome dinner and brunch!

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The wedding attire is cocktail, but our other two events are more casual. All events will be outside if the weather allows it. Welcome Dinner: Garden Attire (casual dresses, skirts, slacks, no tie) Wedding + Reception: Cocktail Attire (cocktail dresses, LBDs, dressy jumpsuits, and dark jackets and slacks) Post Wedding Lunch: Casual Attire (anything goes, from sundresses and sandals to leggings and sneakers)

Question

How do we get to the venue?

Answer

Our wedding venue is 40 minutes outside of Florence so we recommend that you rent a car and stay nearby in Greve in Chianti or Panzano. For the welcome dinner and wedding, we will be providing a shuttle to and from the venue. The shuttle will pick up at La Pensione, a hotel we recommend in the nearby town of Panzano, and will also pick up in front of the library from the main street in Greve in Chianti

Question

What about COVID? Can I fly to Italy?

Answer

If you are vaccinated, YES, you can travel to Italy without restrictions! We highly recommend that everyone is vaccinated. If you are not vaccinated, you will need to show a negative covid test or a medical certificate confirming recovery from COVID valid for six months. Please be sure to stay up to date on Italy's current COVID ordinances, which can be found at https://it.usembassy.gov/covid-19-information/. As of right now, Italy has decreased some of its restrictions, but this could change as cases fluctuate. For example, in March 2022, you could only stay in hotels/airbnbs if you were vaccinated or had proof of recovery. This is not the case anymore, but please know that the restrictions are changing frequently and we highly recommend that everyone is vaccinated if attending the wedding.
