Question

COVID-19 Update- (6/4/2021)

Answer

As of May 13, fully vaccinated guests are not required to wear masks at our event but please do what makes you comfortable. Thank you for doing your part in making our wedding safe! Our big day wouldn’t be possible without you. If you’re coming and unvaccinated, we encourage you to wear a mask for the safety of yourself and the rest of our guests. If you’re unable to come to our wedding, our ceremony will be recorded by our videographer and we will be happy to provide a copy when available.

Question

What if someone in my family is unable to attend? Can someone else go in their place?

Answer

If one of the members of your family cannot attend, the seat cannot be taken by someone else. Only those listed on the invite are the ones who are invited.

Question

Where should we stay?

Answer

There are a few hotels listed on the travel page but if you’re looking for an AirBnB, text Kaitlyn and she can give some recommendations.

Question

If we’re traveling, when should we arrive?

Answer

If you’re in the wedding party, you need to be in Cincinnati by Thursday morning. Our wedding rehearsal is scheduled for Thursday night and your attendance is necessary. If you’re not in the wedding party, feel free to come in late Thursday or early Friday. We’ll be having a “Welcome to Cincinnati” happy hour Friday night that we would love to have everyone attend :)

Question

What does an "Unplugged Wedding" mean?

Answer

It means that we would prefer our guests to be present in the moment at our ceremony! Have you ever seen a professional picture ruined by someone holding up an iPad or their phone to take their own pictures? That's what we're trying to avoid. We know you're excited and want to capture some of your own but we're paying someone to do that. Once the ceremony is over, feel free to take as many pictures as you want! We promise we will post all pictures we receive from that day that you will be able to save for yourself. We thank you in advance for adhering to this request!

Question

How do I get to the venue?

Answer

Shuttle service will be provided from the Hilton Garden Inn, where our hotel block is reserved for the night. Feel free to get there early and grab a spot on the shuttle! Uber and Lyft will also be available but there is plenty of parking onsite as well.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Dressy casual, but comfortable footwear is encouraged! The ceremony is on the lawn area and the parking lot is gravel, so flat footwear is a must.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Ceremony will begin at 4:30 pm, so we would recommend being at the venue by 4:00 pm.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Yes, we are registered at Target and Bed, Bath & Beyond. You can find links to our registries under the "Registry" tab above.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by May 26, 2021 at the RSVP tab above. Once you click on it, you’ll be able to confirm your attendance, as well as anyone else who is on your invite.
