After very careful and thorough consideration (and a lot of failed alternative plans), we have made the decision to proceed with the wedding on our chosen date, but on a MUCH smaller scale. We will be having a very small ceremony with only our immediate families and the majority of our wedding party. This unfortunately means we had to cut our guest list down to about a third of who we invited and wanted to be there. It was a very difficult decision that we never intended to make when we sent out our save the dates. We hope everyone can understand that things are just so unpredictable when it comes to social gatherings during the time of COVID. We have decided not to have any additional celebrations as we just want to be married and move forward. Thank you for your understanding and please know that we would’ve loved to have all of you there with us on our special day.
You can RSVP here on the website. Alternatively, with things being toned down, you can just let us know if you will be attending or not.
Unfortunately, there is limited space so we are only able to accommodate those guests specifically invited.
Kids, like plus ones, are welcome as long as they have been specifically invited. Again, there is limited space due to social gathering restrictions.
Mineral Springs Park - There is very limited parking in front of the pavilion/pergola. The best parking area would be the big lot across from the lagoon, closer to the Court Street entrance/exit. One World - There is street parking in front, but it’s very limited and difficult to utilize because of traffic. The best place to park is in the lot behind the building and then walk around the side to the entrance. The event rooms are up the stairs next to the hostess stand.
We will let everyone know if the ceremony will be held in the pavilion or outside at the pergola. Weather and state COVID restrictions are the deciding factors. In One World, the event rooms are up the stairs next to the hostess stand.
The ceremony will begin at 1pm. You may arrive any time after 12:30pm.
We plan to utilize approximately 1 hour between for photos. Since we have so few guests, everyone is family or close friend and will most likely be asked to take a photo with the Bride and/or Groom.
Reach out to either of us any time before the Big Day by whatever mode is best for you: call, text, email, or even Facebook! Please see below for contact details if you need help on the day.
You may contact the Groom at (309) 840-1721 or the Matron of Honor, Elizabeth, at (309) 210-9442.
