Flight Information
Jacksonville International Airport (JAX) is the closest airport to Fernandina Beach. The airport is about a 45 minute drive from our preferred hotels. Renting a car is the easiest way to travel to and from the airport and around the island. Ubers/Lyfts are available, although they can be spotty at times (we recommend booking in advance if you go this route!). Wedding Transportation

We will have trolley buses escorting guests to and from our preferred hotels before and after the wedding. When you RSVP, there will be a prompt asking which hotel you are staying at - please let us know so we can tell the buses how many people will need to be transported from each hotel. The buses will be doing ONE pickup at the hotels. Please plan to meet the shuttle bus at the front of the hotel at 4:30, as the shuttles will be leaving the hotels at 4:45 pm sharp to bring guests to the wedding. Please be prompt as there are no other shuttle runs to the wedding. The same buses will bring guests back to the hotel upon the conclusion of the reception.

Hampton Inn and Suites Amelia Island Historic Harbor Front
This is our first preferred hotel, located by the harbor in downtown Amelia Island. We have a room block available for discounted rooms. If you are not planning on renting a car, this hotel is in the most convenient location if you would like close walking proximity to lots of bars and restaurants. The bride and groom will be staying at this hotel the night of the wedding. The after party at Palace Saloon will also be a short walk from this hotel. This is our second preferred hotel, one block away from the beach on the oceanside of Amelia Island. We have a room block available for discounted rooms. This hotel option is better if you are planning on renting a car or want to spend more of your free time by the beach. Transportation will be provided to and from this location on wedding day.
