Flight
Saint Louis Lambert International Airport (STL) is about 14 miles from Union Station. You can expect a 20-25 minute ride to the hotel. Uber and Lyft are the two most popular rideshare options here. Taxis are also available, and all major rental car companies have desks at the airport if you prefer to drive.
Train
By Train - Our Recommendation We prefer to take the train when we come back to Missouri. The Amtrak Lincoln Service is usually enjoyable. You get two free bags, access to bathrooms and a café car, and iffy WiFi. You're welcome to bring your own food and beverages aboard (yes, including alcohol). The journey takes about 5 hours and 20 minutes, with multiple daily departures from Chicago Union Station, arriving at Saint Louis Gateway Station just 10 minutes from the hotel. Book early! Tickets sell out on popular travel days, and prices increase closer to departure. We'd love for all of our Chicago friends to be on the same train.
Travel Note
If you prefer to drive, it's a straight shot down I-55 South. The drive is about 300 miles and 4.5 to 5 hours depending on traffic.
