YOUR QUESTIONS

If you have any other questions than what we've listed here, don't hesitate to reach out to us directly!
Question

Where should we stay?

Answer

We have reserved a block of rooms at a discounted rate at the Hilton Garden Inn Milwaukee Downtown. At this time, Hilton is offering 2 night minimums for our guests. We also recommended reserving an Airbnb if you're looking for a more unique and residential-style stay. You can find details in our Accommodations section of this website.

Question

What are the arrangements for transportation?

Answer

We encourage our guests to use Uber. If you prefer to drive yourself, there is parking on the premises, just north of the main entrance, and around the road that winds near the lakefront for free.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We would classify attire as Semi-Formal.

Question

What if I have a food allergy or dietary restrictions?

Answer

Please let us know, simply reach out to us directly as soon as you are able. While we will be serving a variety of delicious food, we understand that some dietary requirements are more sensitive and strict, and we want to ensure your experience is both enjoyable and safe!

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

We are registered at two places . . . We are registered through this website, Zola. To find our Zola registry, simple click the "REGISTRY" item in the top ribbon of this website. We are also registered through Target. To find our Target registry, simply visit: tgt.gifts/therudymathequation

Question

Why is the wedding in Milwaukee?

Answer

We wanted a destination wedding, but in a location that was close enough that everyone could reasonably reach. While we have spent so much time in Chicago, we've honestly been even more charmed and comforted by Milwaukee's warm and welcoming culture. The folks who live here with whom we have become friends are astoundingly generous, the strangers we pass on the street will smile at us for no reason, and the locals we come across are intensely proud of their home city. We hope to share that with you.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We recommend responding as soon as you can, but please get back to us no later than April 6th. If you continue to be unsure of whether you can make it, we encourage you to reach out to us directly. We always appreciate communication if it helps us both plan!

Question

How late does the event go?

Answer

The reception will go until midnight. Stay with us as late as you can! Even if dancing or drinking or late night parties are not your thing, we would be overjoyed to spend the night celebrating with you.

Question

What can we expect to eat & drink at the wedding?

Answer

We will be serving a hearty helping of a host of food and drink! From flavorful appetizers, a plated dinner, dessert options, a full bar, and of course, cake! We hope you'll enjoy the offerings enough to be pleasantly full, but still leave enough room to move and groove on the dance floor!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we primarily have adults who make up our close friends and family, we also acknowledge that some of the most special folks in our lives are youngsters. We have worked thoughtfully to find a balance of including kids and giving the adults a chance to let loose with each other. However, if you have specific questions, just ask!
