What is the menu?

Answer

It's a traditional New England Lobster Bake! We will be serving clams, mussels, lobster, steak, corn on the cob, potatoes, coleslaw, corn bread and rolls. We will also have a Mediterranean antipasto, cheese, crackers, and veggies. Please email joneill922@gmail.com with any allergy concerns!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you. Space is very limited at the Marina :/ We hope you understand!

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your kids, but we want our wedding to be your night off! If you are traveling from out of town, please reach out and we will do our best to help coordinating babysitting!

Is there transportation to and from the hotel to Nauticus Marina?

Answer

Yes! We have booked a shuttle service to and from the hotel (Cape Cod Resort and Conference Center). We stronly suggest taking the shuttle as parking at the venue is extremely limited. The hotel parking lot is very large, and you should be able to park there and take the shuttle.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire. The ceremony, cocktails, and reception will all be outdoors under the hot July sun! The tent will be on grass, so women may want to wear wedges instead of stilettos. Jackets are not required for men. It's going to be hot and we want you to be comfortable!

Do you have a hotel block?

Answer

Yes, we have a hotel block at the Cape Cod Resort and Conference Center in Hyannis. There is a 2 night minimum for the wedding rate, but there is no minimum stay requirement under the full rate. You must book online if you are looking to book for only one night under the full rate. The wedding block code for online bookings for a minimum of 2 nights is WRB4. There is a drop down button to add the code. Another drop down button should be changed from "discount code" to "group attendee". If you are planning to make a reservation for less than or more than 2 nights, you will not be able to do this online and will need to call the hotel directly. We also suggest renting a condo or house on airbnb.com, VRBO.com, and weneedavacation.com. See the 'Travel' section of our website. Please let us know if you run into any issues booking! Will parking be available?

Answer

There are a limited number of spots at the venue (Nauticus Marina), so we urge people to take the shuttle from the Cape Cod Resort and Conference Center, where there is a very large parking lot.

Where is the ceremony located?

Answer

The ceremony, cocktails, and reception are located at Nauticus Marina in Osterville, MA. Osterville is a village within the town of Barnstable.

What is the difference between Hyannis, Osterville, and Barnstable?

Answer

Hyannis and Osterville are 2 of 7 villages in the town of Barnstable. The welcome drinks (Torino Restaurant and Bar) and hotel (Cape Cod Resort and Conference Center) are in the village of Hyannis, and the wedding venue (Nauticus Marina) is in the village of Osterville. The hotel is within walking distance of the shops and restaurants of Main Street, Hyannis. The welcome drinks at Torino Restaurant and Bar are also on Main St in Hyannis.

Is smoking allowed at the venue?

Answer

No. Althought the venue is outdoors, it is a non-smoking venue. Open flames are prohibited as this is a marina with boat fuel on premise.
