Why are you having an unplugged ceremony? We are fairly private people and have chosen to keep our ceremony intimate and distraction-free. This allows us to share this beautiful moment with our loved ones and ensures it is captured professionally. Will there be professional photos? Yes. A professional photographer will be documenting the day to include the bridal party, as well as capturing special moments of our guests and we look forward to sharing photos with you afterward. When may guests take photos? Phones and cameras are welcome after the ceremony concludes, including during cocktail hour and specified parts of the reception. A brief announcement will be made. Are any parts of the reception unplugged? Yes. We kindly ask that phones and cameras be put away during [first dance / parent dances / speeches / other intimate moments]. These are meaningful moments we prefer to experience together. A brief announcement will be made. May guests post photos on social media? Yes, after the ceremony. We respectfully ask that no photos or videos from the ceremony itself be shared. Thank you for understanding. By respecting our wishes, you're helping us create a celebration that feels intentional, present, and personal!
