Where Is the Venue?

Our wedding ceremony and reception will be held at The Chapel by the Sea on beautiful Tybee Island, Georgia. The venue is located on the north side of the island and offers the perfect blend of coastal charm, historical significance and classic elegance for our celebration!

What Should I Wear?

Answer

The attire for our wedding is formal (Black Tie Optional). We invite guests to dress in elegant evening attire- tuxedos and formal gowns are welcome, though a suit and tie or cocktail-style formal wear are equally appropriate. Think polished, elevated and celebration-ready for a beautiful evening on Tybee Island! We ask that guests please refrain from wearing Martini Green, as that is reserved for the Bridal Party.

What is the Schedule of Events?

Answer

Join us on Thursday evening for a Welcome Party at Tybee Island's Pier and Pavilion from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM. We'd love for you to kick off the wedding weekend with us and celebrate alongside our family and friends before the big day! Food and beverages will be provided, so come ready to relax, mingle and enjoy a fun evening by the water. For our Wedding Day celebration on Friday, guests are asked to arrive by 4:30 PM, with the ceremony beginning promptly at 5:00 PM. Cocktail hour will immediately follow the ceremony while the couple takes photos and guests enjoy drinks and hors d’oeuvres. Reception doors will open at 6:45 PM for dinner, dancing and celebrating, with the evening concluding with the couple’s sendoff at 11:00 PM.

What About Parking?

Answer

There is plenty of parking available on site. However, it is highly recommended to take advantage of Breezy Riders and other local cab services, and leaving the driving to them so you can fully enjoy the evening worry-free.

Is the Wedding Indoors or Outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will both take place indoors. However, guests will also have access to several outdoor spaces throughout the evening for anyone who would like to step outside and enjoy the island atmosphere.

Can I Bring a Plus-One?

Answer

Due to venue capacity, we are only able to accommodate the guests listed on your invitation. If a plus-one is not specifically included on your invitation, we kindly ask that you attend solo. We truly wish we could celebrate with everyone and greatly appreciate your understanding!

Are Kids Invited?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding will primarily be an adults-only celebration. Your name(s) will be specifically listed on your invitation. We appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Please RSVP by April 30, 2027- though an earlier response is greatly appreciated!
