We're getting married!

Dynamic Duo Kendall and Will’s love story began in the fall of 2017, when Will was in need of a date for the Phi Kappa Psi Dynamic Duo date party. A brother blindly set him up with Kendall, but the date party was canceled. Thankfully, they met up in Oxford anyway, and a few weeks later went on their first official date; they watched “Thirteen Going on 30”. Two days after they officially became boyfriend and girlfriend, Kendall’s mom visited for the Ole Miss football game. Despite their earlier agreement not to introduce Will to Clare, Will changed his mind after a 6am wakeup call with his fraternity and a bit of bubbly. He greeted his future mother-in-law in The Grove, an hour before kick-off, and made a lasting impression. Kendall and Will’s romance grew over three and a half years of classes, formals, and a semester abroad. When COVID complicated graduation and other plans, the couple found themselves moving to Austin, Texas where they now have a house and a rescue kitty named Archie. The Proposal Kendall and Will’s engagement story is a perfect snapshot of them as a couple: picturesque, personal, and precious. They dreamed of a post-graduation trip to Ireland, which was postponed to 2022 because of COVID. After mutually agreeing against an engagement during their trip, Will sneakily packed a little ring box in his carry-on. On their walk to brunch on their second day in Dublin, they strolled through a lush, quiet park that now holds one of their most special memories. Will, highly out of character, suggested they stop for a second and ask the woman holding a professional camera to take a few pictures. He had hired a local pro to shoot the big moment, but Kendall thought she was just some random woman. That’s when Will got down on one knee and popped the question. The couple got to bask in the privacy of their overseas engagement, beaming from ear to ear, sharing a magical secret with their unknowing Irish neighbors. After a day in their blissful bubble, they shared the news with friends and family back home.
