Beaches
San Diego offers a variety of stunning beaches to explore. You can relax on the golden sands of Coronado Beach, enjoy the lively vibes of Mission Beach, or visit the scenic La Jolla Cove. Pacific Beach, Ocean Beach, and Sunset Cliffs also offer beautiful views and a laid-back atmosphere (our personal favorites to go)! Balboa Park
Balboa Park is a beautiful park with gardens, museums, and the famous San Diego Zoo. It's also where we had our first date (The Japanese Friendship Garden) and got engaged (The Botanical Garden)! Whether you're strolling through the gardens or exploring the museums, there's plenty to enjoy and so much natural beauty to see!
Gaslamp Quarter
The Gaslamp Quarter is the heart of San Diego, offering a mix of trendy restaurants, lively bars, and unique shops. It's the perfect place to explore the city's nightlife, catch a live show, or enjoy delicious food!
Coronado Island
Coronado Island is a charming getaway just a short trip from downtown San Diego. Known for its beautiful Coronado Beach, it's perfect for relaxing with a stunning view. You can also explore the iconic Hotel del Coronado (ice skating may be open!), stroll through old-fashioned shops, or enjoy scenic views of the bay.
Belmont Park
Belmont Park is a fun-filled beachfront amusement park offering classic rides like the historic Giant Dipper roller coaster, arcade games, and delicious eats. It's a great spot for a day of nostalgia, family, fun, or just enjoying the vibrant atmosphere by the ocean.
San Diego Zoo
The world's most famous zoo! It's home to over 3,500 animals from around the globe. It's a must-visit for animal lovers and families.
San Diego Zoo Safari Park
An exciting place for a safari experience where you can see animals like giraffes, rhinos, and antelopes roaming freely. You can hangout with kangaroos (our personal favorite!), watch gorillas, and take a tram around the savannas! About 30 mins from downtown San Diego.
Legoland California
A theme park designed for families with children between the ages of 2 and 12. They have over 60 rides, shows, and attractions!
SeaWorld San Diego
SeaWorld has thrilling rides, animal shows, and interactive exhibits. You can experience Emperor, which is California's tallest and fastest dive coaster. Enjoy marine life such as dolphins, orcas, and sea lions!
Disneyland Park
For those who are Disney lovers! Approximately a 1.5 hour drive from San Diego — you can experience the magic of Disneyland & California Adventures!
