Alex here. The story of how Thomas and I met is like any other millennial love story - we met online. I had just moved to good 'ol Charlotte NC, and he had been a local for about four years. A friend of mine told me to hop on Hinge (a.k.a an online dating app for your phone), and try to meet people. I did, but I was always too scared to go on an actual date. Somehow Thomas charmed his way into snagging a date with me, and we've pretty much been inseparable since. I mean he met my pup Penny on the first date, and she loved him. I knew he was a keeper. Since then, we've laughed, cried, traveled to 7 different countries, adopted a new puppy, and experienced so much together. Then on September 15th, 2019, Thomas (and God) decided it was time... to put a ring on it. We were traveling to Europe for two weeks and our first stop was in Vienna, and that's where he popped the question. Long story short, his proposal didn't go according to plan... so let's just say I got proposed to twice in one day (I said yes both times). And #TheRestWasHestery!
