The wedding will take place about 90 minutes northeast of the Twin Cities in Frederic, Wisconsin. Therese's family has a cabin on Spirit Lake where the ceremony will be held. The meal and reception is a half-mile trail walk to an outdoor community space, so be ready to swap those heels for flip-flops or hiking boots! If accessibility is a concern notify the bride or groom and we would love to assist in accommodations so you can celebrate without worrying. These plans are subject to change with weather.

If you are interested in saving money and *communing with nature*, we'd love to have you camp either on the property or at Birchwood Resorts (if you want access to a shower) for any portion of the weekend. Please inform the bride or groom of your intentions so we can plan accordingly. BYO tent and supplies. Birchwood Resorts also has cabins/houses for rent. Basic camping etiquette is advised including (but not limited to) considerations such as: - Leave no trace - Respect others' space - Be respectful of quiet hours - Be respectful of wildlife and the land - Keep your campsite clean and trash-free

3-Star Hotel. There will be a shuttle to and from this hotel and Spirit Lake. We have blocked 15 rooms at a rate of $189.99. The hotel requires a 2-night minimum stay for 09/6 & 09/7. Rooms have a 1-2 adult occupancy and 2 queen beds. Adding a 3rd adult requires a $10 additional charge and a 4th a $20 additional charge.
