Joe & Giahna first met briefly over a decade ago 'down the shore' in Margate, NJ, a meeting that could be characterized as nothing more than a fleeting and otherwise inconsequential occurrence. So much so that Giahna, to this day, does not remember it, much to Joe's chagrin. Fast forward many years later, and a stroke of fate and serendipity put Giahna in Joe's orbit, again 'down the shore' at the storied and beloved Memories in Margate on Memorial Day Weekend the Summer of 2024. Joe was a Margate regular every summer weekend he could manage to be there. Giahna, on the other hand, had a last minute change of plans that put her in Margate for one night and one night only for the first time in 7 years. Fueled by confidence (several vodka & Red Bulls), the first tan of the summer, and the backdrop of Jerry Blavats' favorite summer hits, Joe spotted Giahna from across the dance floor and started a conversation with what would end up being the most consequential complement of his life...and the rest is history!
