He may be Sarah’s on paper, but let’s be honest, Wyatt will be changing his last name after the wedding too. He looks forward to daily walks with Mom and Dad even more than his three meals a day, and if you’ve met him, you know that’s saying a lot. He’s thrilled that his favorite humans are getting married and will absolutely be in attendance, so watch your plates, folks.

Doby was the very first person Jeff told about Sarah, so it only feels right that he’s the one marrying them. The two met at The Boot and instantly clicked over their love of all things sports, especially hockey. Whether it’s their annual March Madness trip or long-distance game nights, Jeff can always count on Doby to bring the energy (and the Suncruisers!).
Abeer Thomson
Matron of Honor
Sarah may have met Abeer during their sorority days, but they really bonded over post-grad game nights. After countless glasses of wine and intense rounds of Catan, Abeer, became Sarah’s go-to for everything: career advice, relationship reality checks, and the occasional three-month stay, (sorry David!). From finding the guy to saying yes to the dress, Abeer has been there for every step of this journey.
Matthew Crowe
Best Man
Jeff met Crowe in high school, and he’s been like a brother ever since. From teenage adventures to life’s biggest milestones, Crowe has been there every step of the way. Jeff had the honor of standing by his side when he married Elise, and there’s no way he’d say “I do” without Crowe by his side too. Fun fact, after a concert last summer, Jeff had the lead singer of their favorite band, Uncle Lucius, ask Crowe to be his best man.
Connie Recchini

Connie helped recruit Sarah to their sorority, and the two quickly became close friends. They’ve done a lot of growing up since their 6th Street days, but the fun never stops when they’re together. Sarah had the absolute joy of standing by Connie as she married the love of her life, Christian, and has loved watching them raise their sweet son, Lorenzo. There’s nothing better than growing older with your best friends, and Sarah can’t wait to share this next chapter with Connie by her side.
Jared Reese

Jeff and Jared met at Texas State, where they became fast friends due to their shared love of baseball, Americana, and folk music. That foundation of late-night jams and dugout chats set the stage for a lifelong friendship, one that’s only grown stronger over the years.
Ashley St. Amand

Ashley and Sarah met through friends of friends, but over time their connection grew into something truly unbreakable, built through both laughter and life’s hardest moments. Ashley has been Sarah’s closest confidante over the years, walking alongside her through relationships, challenges, and everything in between. Sarah had the honor of standing by Ashley’s side as she married her husband, Russell, and is thrilled to have Ashley do the same.

Seth and Jeff bonded over their shared love of college sports, golf, and plenty of good times at The Boot in Houston. From game days to tee times, their friendship has been built on countless great memories, and it’s only fitting Seth is here for one of the biggest ones yet.
Brittany Lister

Brittany is the kind of person who instantly feels like family. She was originally Ashley’s coworker, but the first time she left our house, Jeff and Sarah both said, “She’s definitely coming back.” A few hours later, Sarah got a text from Ashley: “Brittany hopes you liked her, she really liked y’all.” Fast forward several weekend trips and a secret mission to help Jeff pull off the engagement, and she’s become someone we truly couldn’t imagine not being a part of our lives.
Chris Wicks

Jeff met Wicks, through his younger brother, in high school, and they quickly became best friends through a series of life’s many adventures. Wicks was the first of Jeff’s friends to meet Sarah and has since spent countless weekends at their house, so many, in fact, that he’s become a bit of a neighborhood legend. Ask any neighbor at the wedding and you’re guaranteed to hear a great story about Wicky, but none about Chris. Because who the heck is Chris?

Lisa and Sarah met at their favorite event, The Music Fest in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Their shared love for country music quickly turned into a friendship full of laughter, endless inside jokes, and a bond that feels more like sisters than friends. Somehow, the one week they spend together each year creates enough memories to last the whole year, but Wyatt misses her every day.
Richard Foster

Richard and Sarah became instant friends as rookies on the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Calf Scramble Committee. He showed her the ropes of rodeo, teaching her everything from showing cattle to ranching, hunting, and fishing. After many rodeo nights, concerts, and TV marathons, they both eventually landed in Austin, where they discovered a shared love of wine, which is now Richard’s career. Fun fact: Richard was the first man to propose to Sarah, even if it was just a joke with a light-up ring.

The youngest and sweetest member of the wedding party, Farah is the daughter of Abeer and David Thomson. Sarah has absolutely loved being “Auntie Sarah” to Farah and her brother Amos. Farah was even there when Sarah said yes to the dress, making her part of the celebration from the very beginning.

Ring Bearer
A bilingual super genius in the making, Amos is the son of Abeer and David Thomson. He sleeps with a special stuffed toy, gifted by his "Uncle Jeff" when he became a big brother, that looks just like him. Naturally, he calls it Super Amos. He is going to be the most SUPER Ring Bearer.
