FAQs

The Wedding Website of Sarah Marks and Jeff Rassenfoss
We are so excited to have you join us for our special day! If you have additional questions other than what is listed here, please reach out to us.
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

As soon as possible! Our final counts are due March 1st. So if you have not RSVPd before then, we will make you as not attending.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

To keep our day as intimate as possible, our wedding is limited to those who are named on the invitation. If you think this is a mistake, please reach out to us directly.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your little ones but this is an adults only event.

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

The venue has street parking only. Though there is typically plenty available, we encourage everyone to use Uber/Lyft and enjoy the drinks on us!

Question

Will we be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both! The ceremony & cocktail hour are outside. The dinner & reception are inside. The average temperate in Galveston in May is 77 degrees, so prepare to be a bit warm!

Question

Are the ceremony and reception at the same place?

Answer

Yes!

Question

Will there be a time gap between your wedding ceremony and reception?

Answer

A 60 minute cocktail hour will take place in the courtyard between the ceremony and reception where you can enjoy cocktails, small bites and games.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes, the drinks are on us!

Question

What kind of food will you have at your wedding?

Answer

Dinner will be prepared on-site by a wood-fired pizza caterer, accompanied by fresh salads and a pasta bar. A gluten-free crust option will be available. Kindly indicate any additional food allergies or dietary restrictions on your RSVP, and we will be happy to accommodate.

Question

What time will your wedding reception end? Is there an after-party?

Answer

Our reception will end at 10pm, after which there will be an after-party at TBD.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

The dress code is Garden Cocktail - polished and festive, perfect for an evening in the summer heat of Galveston. Women: Midi dresses, floral prints, or jumpsuits with block heels or dressy flats. Men: Light suits or dress shirts with blazers. Ties are optional, no tux needed. Think garden party meets cocktail hour!
