When should I RSVP?

Answer

We'd love for you to RSVP as soon as possible! However, we understand there may be details to work out for those traveling to celebrate with us. We kindly ask that you send in your RSVPs by July 13th to ensure we can give our vendors our final guest count.

What if I cannot attend?

Answer

If you're unable to join us, that is okay! We completely understand that not everyone can take time off work or travel to be with us on our day. Please do let us know if you cannot join us by RSVPing 'no' so we can plan accordingly!

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

We have limited space at our event, and we are only able to accommodate the guests listed on the invitation. Once you RSVP, you will find out if you have the option for a plus one. Please reach out to us with any questions!

Are my children invited?

Answer

While we adore your children and wish we could celebrate with all of them, this is an adult only event. The only children invited are the Bride and Groom's nieces as they are participating in the ceremony. If you plan to bring your children to Colorado with you, we are more than happy to provide you with information on childcare resources for the time of the event. Please reach out to us directly.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our wedding will be set outdoors in beautiful Colorado, so we’ve chosen a Semi-Formal with a Rustic Flair dress code to match the natural setting of our venue. For Women: We encourage semi-formal midi or maxi dresses or stylish jumpsuits in beautiful floral prints or solid earthy hues that echo the natural landscape. Footwear that allows for ease of movement on varied surfaces, such as block heels, dressy wedges, or fashionable flats, is suggested as the ceremony is on grass. For Men: Suits or sportscoat jackets are welcome! Ties are optional, so feel free to keep it relaxed and comfortable. Feel free to experiment with colors and patterns, but keep it classy. ;)

What is the closest airport to fly into?

Answer

Boulder Municipal Airport is the closest. However, it is much smaller and flights may be much more expensive. You will likely have better luck finding more reasonable flights into Denver International Airport.

Where should our out-of-town guests stay?

Answer

We acknowledge many of our guests will be traveling from out of town to celebrate with us - We encourage you to make a weekend out of it! Guests are encouraged to use our hotel-block that has been secured at a heavily discounted rate at the Residence Inn in Boulder, Colorado. For additional options, please visit the Travel page of our website.

Is there a shuttle to and from the hotel the couple has selected for the room block?

Answer

Not to the wedding, no. However, we have elected to provide transportation for all our guets who utilize our room block transportation back to the hotel after our event. The shuttle provided after the wedding will return you safely to the Residence Inn as part of an added bonus of utilizing the room block!

Is there parking available at the wedding venue?

Answer

Yes. As soon as you pull into the venue, please follow the driveway to a large parking lot on the left. The venue site is located within 100 ft of the parking lot.

Will there be transportation between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

No need! The ceremony and reception will be hosted on the grounds of the River Bend. Cocktail hour will begin immediately after the ceremony concludes.

What is the weather like in this area in August?

Answer

It can definitely be warm during this time of year in Lyons. We expect the weather to be in the 80s during the day, and drop to 60s at night. The River Bend has beautiful trees for shade and is located right on the river to put your feet in to cool off.

What happens after the reception ends?

Answer

The celebration isn't over! We'll be heading to the Pearl Street Mall in Boulder to continue the party at some of the local bars. For your convenience, we will be providing a shuttle service directly from the wedding to keep the party going safely!

What are the details for the shuttle at the end of the evening?

Answer

We want you to fully immerse yourselves in our wedding celebration without any concerns about transportation. For your convenience, a shuttle will be available at the end of the evening to transport guests to the after party that will be taking place in the Boulder area. Considering the limited ride-sharing options in Lyons, we advise all guests needing onward transportation, including those staying in Longmont, that taking the shuttle to Boulder will likely offer the most efficient and accessible ride-sharing options to reach your final destination. Any guests staying at the Residence Inn will be dropped of right at the front door of the hotel. The shuttle will be departing from the River Bend at 10:15 pm. Please RSVP your shuttle needs so we can ensure adequate space and finalize our transportation schedule.

What if I don't want to take the shuttle to Boulder (Pearl Street or Residence Inn)?

Answer

You are welcome to make your own transportation arrangements if you prefer. However, please note that ride-sharing options can be limited and potentially more expensive from the wedding venue in Lyons compared to Boulder. The shuttle will be departing from the River Bend at 10:15 pm. Please RSVP your shuttle needs so we can ensure adequate space and finalize our transportation schedule.
